Terms

• Gothic Lolita: A style of artwork that contrasts pale, innocent-appearing characters with dark, frilly, Victorian wardrobes.
• Loli: A girl below the age of consent that is made to look painfully adorable. As used in a sentence, “I saw a loli and my friend had to pull me away.”
• Manga: A Japanese graphic novel (read: cartoon). In America and especially Japan, they are read by teens and even adults; they are not always geared toward children. Anti-Trap is an example of the latter.
• Trap: A person who appears to be female but is not. As used in a sentence, “OH MY GOD! IT’S A TRAP!”
